Podcasting is an excellent source of revenue for businesses looking to expand their reach. So, what are the benefits of this type of content, and how can you host prominent guests to acquire new clients and grow your business?

According to podcasting expert Dr. Jeremy Weisz, launching a podcast saves time on networking and client acquisitions. By publishing one episode a week, you can build relationships with referral and strategic partners both inside and outside of your industry. When it comes to finding great guests to feature on your podcast, Dr. Weisz says to focus on social proof. Most guests pay little attention to a podcast’s views or popularity, so by delivering value, you can find noteworthy guests that may eventually become clients.

Tune in to this episode of What The Teck? as Rolando Rosas and Dave Kelly chat with Dr. Jeremy Weisz, Co-founder of Rise25, about launching and running a B2B podcast. Dr. Weisz explains how he helps clients manage podcasting technology, tips for acquiring and building relationships with guests and clients, and how to boost your company’s success by working with Rise25.

On today’s podcast, we have Dr. Jeremy Weisz of Rise25, who will tell us what makes a great podcast. And just to give you a little bit of background on Jeremy. I’ve met Jeremy a few years back, we met at an Amazon conference. And then he hosted an event in Las Vegas with a bunch of entrepreneurs, which was a smashing success. And we were just chit chatting about how it’s helped launch a lot of folks to another level and maybe because of a secret sauce that he’s got that he keeps on the tight wraps. I’ll let him speak for himself. Dr. Jeremy Weisz.

Jeremy Weisz 1:41

Thank you both for having me. This is exciting. It’s good to see you again. Finally.

Rolando Rosas 1:44

Likewise, it’s good to see you all this crazy hullabaloo of being locked inside. I’ve got Cabin Fever right now that I would love to shake off. But I’m sure that at some upcoming conference, we’ll get to meet again and you’ll see each other face to face. Where are you checking in from today? Jeremy?

Jeremy Weisz 2:00

I am right outside Chicago. So it’s still even though it’s the end of May almost June. It’s still cold here. So I don’t recommend it yet. Steve

never ends.

Rolando Rosas 2:18

Jeremy, do you want me to go by Dr. Jeremy, Jeremy, what’s what’s comfortable for you what what? Jeremy is good.

Jeremy Weisz 2:23

Jeremy is good. And if we’re on the basketball court, I will take Dr. J. But by trade, my background is actually in biochemistry. And as a chiropractor, so I went to Madison studied biochemistry and went on to become a chiropractor. But now I run rise 25 And I’ve been podcasting for over a decade now and helping people launch and run podcasts. And you mentioned about connecting views. For me, it depends on the type of show right for me, we focus more on the b2b type of shows. So we don’t if it’s a comedy show, if it’s a true crime show, this is not up our alley. This is not like a group that will plot out and script the story. So for those, they probably want views, right? Even I would argue for the comedy ones, it’s relationships. So for me, the number one thing in my life is relationships. I’m always looking at ways to give to my best relationships. And even for the comedy ones. I’m sure I can find an angle even for that, right? Like they’re having their colleagues on talking about comedy. But listen, let’s say Rolando, I am opening for a show or I have a show and I want to bring you on your friends I’m like hey, Ron, do you want to come and you want to do a bit on my show? You want to open for me you want to close for me? So even on those shows, even though the the the way they monetize it may be viewership, but they could get on each other show. So I am about the relationship way Trump’s the views. And honestly, I don’t even look at my views.

Rolando Rosas 3:57

That’s one of the things I wanted to ask you. Because tied to that is, is podcasting. Really for everybody? You just said something that, you know, your niche is to use to go after business that or entrepreneurs that want to use their business and leverage podcasting, but is podcasting for everybody?
