Dave Kelly  0:24

Hey, Rolando. How are you today?

Rolando Rosas  0:26

I’m doing fine man we good to see you. Good to virtually see you. Oh, feels like forever right but it’s only been like a couple of days.

Dave Kelly  0:35

Just a couple of days file what do they say distance makes the heart grow fonder, Rolando?

Rolando Rosas  0:41

There we go, there we go. All right. Hey, listen, let me ask you this. Did you see? Did you catch any of the games over the weekend?

Dave Kelly  0:48

I caught all the games over the weekend. It went as expected. For me anyways, and I’m looking forward to the big game. You’re not supposed to say I don’t think you’re supposed to call it anything else. So definitely looking for the board to the game. And I’m just gonna have to read for Tom Brady out there.

Rolando Rosas  1:05

Tom Brady versus Mahone mahomes. Patrick Holmes, not Patrick. Right. It’s better to home. Patrick mahomes. Well, I don’t have that. Well. I don’t really love either team. I guess I’ll root for Brady, just so that he gets his next Super Bowl ring. Right. And I know that may be a little controversial, or some would say it’s time for somebody else. But hey, you gotta knock off the best to be the best, right?

Dave Kelly  1:33

Absolutely. So time will tell the world will be watching.

Rolando Rosas  1:38

Well, let’s see. All right, go bucks. All right, well, let’s, let’s let the folks in know what we got. We got to love it today. We’ve got a great guest. We’ll bring him in in a little bit. So we’re gonna bring you some, some interesting topics today. As you can see, we’ve got Scott from EPOS coming in today. And he’s going to break it down. So if you’re watching us today, and you’re watching us on Facebook, or on YouTube, or any of our platforms, go ahead and send us any comments that you want, we’ll be glad to respond on chat. While while we do this session, with Scott, we’re actually you’re in for a masterclass today, we’re gonna break down some some some things that may, you may have seen before, but some things that you may have not seen before. But the Dave, we’re just gonna keep it nice and free flowing and fun with Scott, you know, we had an alarm previously, but you know, we’ll go we’ll go, we’ll go soft on them this time.

Dave Kelly  2:45

There you go. Yeah. You know, it’s been an interesting year, there’s some new trends that are happening. And with Scott’s experience in the industry, not what I think. I think his voice will be important here.

Rolando Rosas  2:56

I agree. I agree. And then before we go to Scott and his voice, let’s throw it to our trivia question. All right. So one of the things that I was really curious about, and then I’m sure some of our audience would like to know, I went to CES last year. That was my first time last year and I was curious, how was the attendance this year? Because it was an old virtual conference. And so the question is, how many people attended CES this year in 2021? When we’ve this year, when they take this so on 21, how many people attended, they average around 150,000 people. And we have some official numbers from CES. So stay tuned to the end of the show. And we’ll reveal the answer. All right. So without further ado, let’s let’s just talk a little bit about who we’re bringing in Scott was on our previous segment, where we were talking about wireless headsets. And Scott is got loads of experience working in this industry. He’s, he’s a subject matter expert when it comes to all things hands free devices. We were just having some conversation just before we went on air, but a few things. And I’m sure your audience is going to find him a wonderful, refreshing voice on this topic that we’re going to explore today. So without further ado, let’s bring in Scott. Hey, Scott. Hey guys, how are you? I’m doing fine. How are you? Scott doing? Thank you. Good. Well, thanks for joining us today, Scott.

Scott Houston  4:30

Oh, my pleasure, love, love it. Happy to be back.

Rolando Rosas  4:33

All right. Well,

Dave Kelly  4:35

Oh, gosh. I’m jumping all over here Rolando. My brain so my brain was thinking about the question that we just asked with the virtual attendees for CES. Rolando. How many did you said same was the average about 150,000?

Rolando Rosas  4:51

About 150,000 over the I think it’s a four day event

Scott Houston  4:54

when it was in person. Yeah. Yeah.

Rolando Rosas  4:56

And Scott, you’ve attended to EOS/

Scott Houston  4:59

Oh, Many times use was a wonderful way to start start the year you’d go right from New Years, and you’re out there spending, you know, at least a week in Vegas. Make makes one once you get home from that it’s special. But it’s yeah, no, it was great. And being a huge gadget nerd myself, you know, seeing all the cool stuff, like what the car companies used to do with those shows and all the audio wise, and, you know, you’d see what the big names pull off on their gigantic, you know, booths and, but it’s a show I miss now that we don’t participate directly as EPOS now. But you know, still and, you know, all my former colleagues over at Sennheiser. I know, I know, they still do, and, you know, looking forward to hopefully going back in the future, hopefully, yeah,
